Stats from my YouTube Channel

I have discovered a Google website,https://takeout.google.com/ that lets you download any or all of your google data, including, among other things, YouTube videos.  So I exported it all.

One of the things I found was a CSV file that summarized all those YouTube videos.  I uploaded that file here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ShKu0HxEyrMbMm18CuZ4yZb2xxUSQ4mF99jQFkbydcA/edit?usp=sharing

and then edited out the boring columns and added a URL to each video.

Most of the videos are about Greenmeadow, the neighborhood I live in.  These videos mostly have views in the double digits, which are mostly from my neighbors, I’m sure.

What surprised me is that the most popular video is one of the IBM 1401 computer at the Computer History Museum.  This video has an order of magnitude larger view count than any of the others.  (It also is the only video that has a non-zero “dislike” count.)   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUh7WKy8Vxk

The sleeper in this collection, in my opinion, is the one about Pete McClosky.  McCloskey, who characterized himself as a “liberal Republican” was our member of congress for several years.  He talks about Greenmeadow, but also, of broader interest, how he got into politics.  I recommend this one.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9GrrUYwFQQ
