What is it about music anyway? I often wonder about that. It seems that every culture has some form of music, some primitive, some very developed. Moreover, every culture uses music for important occasions like weddings and funerals. Why?
And why does music have the ability to move us to deep emotion? It is just some sounds made by instruments or the voice.
It is the one mystery that I am least able to explain in my ways of looking at the world.
But mystery or no, our lives would somehow be empty without music.
