From then to Now

Even after I bought the Macintosh, I continued to use my Hong Kong clone PC as well.  I eventually installed Windows on it.  I upgraded various components on it for a number of years.  I eventually bought a new machine and gradually upgraded it.  I still have that machine although it’s a bit elderly.  My latest computer is a Fujitsu laptop.

This is the computer I’m using to write these memoirs.  I am using an external keyboard and monitor.

My older daughter, Elizabeth, ended up using my Macintosh to do her homework.  This lasted until her senior year in high school at which point I bought her her own PC.  On her own (with a little help from her friends) she figured out how to hook it up to the Internet.  At that point the Macintosh was retired.

Since that time my computer purchases, like the computer industry itself, have been evolutionary rather than revolutionary.
